I have nothing else to write about, and I hadn't wrote about anything in awhile, so I would like to rant about idiots.
Why is it everywhere I go, I find a complete moron that has no idea what they are talking about? The other day, I offered to fix someone's computer for free. They were complaining about it for hours, and I got sick of it. When I offered, the person then replied with, "I would rather pay someone that knows what they are doing, sorry." Now, last time I checked, I haven't had issues with fixing various problems, usually created by the user.
This guy then told me he thought he had a virus, but hadn't downloaded anything. Ok, I can believe this, viruses are all over the internet, this is fact. To further pour salt into the wound, this guy simply told me that I have no business offering to help him with his computer, because I am not a professional.
This simply pissed me off the most, because the last time I took a computer to a professional to "fix it" I was charged $300.00 for that professional to reformat my computer, without saving any of my files.
Anyway what I am getting at, is the fact that some complete idiot told me that *I* had no idea what i am talking about when I simply told them I could fix it.
Needless to say, the person is bitching at me again because this "Professional computer tech" had charged him an exorbitant amount and simply told this person that there is nothing wrong.
BACK TO SQUARE ONE IDIOT.
